GOD
We believe in one God who is the Creator and sustainer of all things eternally existing in three
persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.(Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Psalm 90:2, John 1:1-14,
2 Corinthians 13:14)
JESUS
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man, lived a
sinless life, died on the cross as a sacrifice for sin, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven,
and will return again. (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:22-23, Luke 1:30-35, John 1:1-14, Acts 1:9-11,
Romans 1:3-4, 1 Corinthians 15:3-8, Colossians 2:9, Hebrews 4:14-15, Philippians 2:5-11)
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts of sin, gives new life, indwells believers, and
empowers them to live faithful, obedient lives of service and witness. (John 16:7-13, Acts 1:8,
Romans 8:9-11, 1 Corinthians 6:19, Galatians 5:22-25)
BIBLE
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the divinely inspired Word of
God and the final authority for faith and Christian living. (Psalm 19:7-11, Psalm 119:105,
Proverbs 30:5, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21)
SIN
We believe that all people have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Sin separates us from
God and leaves us spiritually dead and in need of a Savior. (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23,
Ephesians 2:1-3)
SALVATION
We believe salvation is the free gift of God available to everyone through the life, death, and
resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are saved from sin and death only by grace through faith in
Jesus Christ. Repentance and baptism are part of a faithful response to Jesus Christ as Lord
and Savior. (John 3:16, Romans 5:8, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 2:38, John 14:6,
Acts 8:36-38)
